Is there any reason to put mugs into waters after transfer is on?

Hi.
I would to know when a transfer has been put onto the mug using a mug press,does dropping the mug in water matter?
If so why?
What is the reason for dropping the mug in the water?
What temp does the water have to be?

I got a small order to print on garments with 92%nylon & 8% Elastane. Its only wording and the client wants red wording on black garment.
Will sublimation work on this ?

What is other alternatives besides sublimate?

Hey guys,
What shops do oversized sublimation prints?

An example would be:
Rockett Clothing - Ghost Girl

So I'm not looking to do this myself, I just need some help finding companies who can print a design like this for me.

Can I use Epson TX600FW or TX700W with Sublimation ink?

Since I already have R1900 for dye ink (I can't find Sublimation CISS for R1900 in where I live and I do not want to import all the time). Though I found Sublimation CISS for Epson 4 and 6-color printer. I want an all-in-one printer that has wireless connection. Is it OK if I use TX600FW or TX700W with sublimation ink?

If you look at their website at the new for 2010 they have Poly shirts both for guys and girls even a new girls jacket that looks good.
No prices yet so we will see on that.

Sublimation printers

Hi, I am using an Epson D120 printer for my sublimation printing, but seem to be spending more time messing about with the cartridges (re-fillable / re-usable) as the printer asks to refill them a lot, although they do not require filling.
I understand that the cartridge chips may play a part in this, but when it is working, it is working fine.
Can anyone suggest a better quality, more reliable printer, as a new business line we are turning out approx 30 + a day so something more reliable is required.

Sublimation Inks in a 1400 Inkjet CISS?

Hello All,
We do embroidery, heat transfer vinyl and inkjet transfers. We want to get into sublimation.
I have a Epson 1400 with a inkjet CISS. Works fine!
Can I flush this system and replace the Inkjet inks with 1400 compatible sublimation inks?

Strange Colours – Air Chamber in Bulk Feed Ink

Hi,

I am using an Epson 1400 and Sawgrass bulk feed system but struggled with printing grey. Whatever I do it is coming out purple/blue.
I tried all of the solutions seen on other posts but then when double checking my bulk feed ink system saw that there was ink in the air chambers.
These have been cleaned out with a syringe and I am running a load of purge prints to see if this helps.

Question - anyone know if ink in the air chambers may be causing the problem with grey prints coming out purple/blue or what the air chambers do in the process?

I want like a dye so you have a black shirt with a white screen print design on it. under normal light looks just like that but under black light the whole garment would glow that way I could discreetly do this to all my shirts and they would look normal but kind of have their own little hidden secret. Something like the ink they use in the invisible stamps they use when you get into clubs and ECT might depending on if it washed out of the fabric
