hello there. forgive my ignorance but i sure would appreciate your advice because what i'll be doing won't necessarily be competeing with your business.
i plan to buy a heat press before the end of the week and am still a little confused.
i'll be doing t-shirts of all sizes as well as smaller garments for ladies and children. most of the images can be done in a 16x20 press.
however, i also want to do 'split images' like you would see on a hoodie and also the huge images that you see on some t-shirts.
the largest press i found is the hix 20x25 but i measured a size large t-shirt and it measures 36" from the tip to tip of the sleeve.
i probably answered my own question and should outsource for the large images like this. also, i've read a few posts that an image won't transfer very well because of the zipper but i can't find anything about the large images.
does anyone make a super large press and for that matter, does anyone make a transfer this large??? did i even make any sense??

White transfers

Would it be possible to have an inkjet printer with a bulk system print white on transfers if you put white ink in the black channel? If you called for all black text, it would print out white.
Just looking for a way to put white transfers on dark garments using transfers.

Hi all! Been stalking for a while but first time poster,so go easy on me.
I popped on my generic 15x15, ebay heat press today thinking ima hook up some tee's. Few minutes later I notice that temp won't rise. I thought it was the fuse so fooled with all that. LED display is on so its not the fuse. Does anyone know what may be the problem? Anyone had similar problems.
P.s. typed all this from a droid so excuse blockyness.

ALPS MD 5000 Transfer Paper

We have an ALPS MD-5000 and we are looking for transfer paper that we can use with it. What we are looking for is paper that self weeving and doesn't transfer the paper around it, just the ink. For our particular market, our customers will be doing the transfers themselves using a household iron (unfortunately, there is no way around this). Does anyone have any ideas on what the best paper for this would be and what is your experiences with it. Also, we are thinking of going with a laser printer vice the MD-5000 any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciate any help or ideas that anyone has.
epson work force 600, pigment ink problems

I have a epson work force 600 and I can not get the refillable cartridges to work the black will not work all other work.
Also the reg epson cartridges work well.
Any one know what could be wrong. I have tryed three cartridges.

Does anyone know where I can purchase this product in cut sheet of different sizes? I have some on a roll but I do not like to use it.:confused:
That should be Inkjet, I have some transfers I will be contour cutting, it has text, and a graphic that have to be lifted of as 1 part to apply to a dark shirt.

My husband and I are ready to enter the t-shirt business but are overwhelmed at the printing choices. We really like what Afliction does. Can anyone tell me what printing method they use? What method is really best for printing on dark clothing? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
A plea about ink cartridges, epson printer

I have a eposn workforcd 600
It work great. But when I put in the ink cartridges for pigment ink they will not work.
It says It can not be reconized only the black.
Can any one help. I really need this to work.
